Riddle me this, why is it more socially acceptable for a girl to have a merchandise from a show aimed at boys than the reverse? Example, when I was in school, I carried a Dragonball Z backpack. This somehow made me cool to those who liked me, and shared my interest in the show, but it was never something I was picked on for, even by those who did so daily. Even though DBZ was aimed at boys, it was totally fine that a girl liked it. And yet, Grayson, a boy from NC not only gets picked on, but bullied by his peers AND his school for having a My Little Pony backpack. His school actually called his Rainbow Dash backpack a trigger for bullying and he was told to leave it at home. This infuriates me. Our county as a whole needs to get away from victim blaming, badly. Its a tv show. It doesnt matter if a show is aimed at a certain demographic, people outside of it will enjoy it. You can count on that. There is at least one show or movie NOT aimed at the demographic you fall into that you enjoy. People refer to these as guilty pleasures. And I want you to know something, anything that brings you joy, something that makes you happy, dont feel guilty about it. You shouldnt feel guilty about something that brings you happiness. #supportforgrayson
