Riders, Quick, someone find us a wishing well, we need to drop a coin and wish for dry weather for this Saturday!!! We need to ride… and others need to race…we all need prefect conditions!!! The group will meet in the parking lot of New Spring Church in Anderson for the ECE SVR (Electric City Endurance Saturday Velo Ride)… wheels roll at 8am… for 22, 47 or 70 miles… with some lucky ones looking for triple digits…. Triple digits in whole numbers!!!! We may someone to get the party started… as I may have a conflict at the 8 o’clock hour…. If you know what I mean… when the bell tolls… it tolls for TALLY HO!!! Be ready to rock your ride… bring helmet, sunnies, wheels and nutrition to accomplish whatever goal you’ve set for yourself… related to distance, pace, intensity, or a level of self-imposed pain that causes tunnel vision… the choice is yours… you have to decide!!! Or if you’re coached… just do what the coach said to do… including Simms Mill repeats!!! Last weekend it was 3 repeats… hmm, how many for this Saturday??? I suggest 3 repeats... more or less.. considerably more than less… so, that means 3 PLUS!!! OUCH!!! Here’s a public service announcement for those non-repeaters…. Quoted from the Coach…. “there’s no Fants’ Grove in Wisconsin, that’s why we ride Simms!” Hmm, I kinda think he’s on to something… what that something is… who knows??? Oh yes I did!!! I may have missed the official start last weekend… but, I did manage to get out on the SVR course… had a great time collecting some miles… and even ran into an SVR group who was OFF THE CHAIN!!! Yep, that group went rogue… and even splintered into the repeaters vs non-repeaters… if you know what I mean!!! ECE Party Props to the Rekitos… for hosting the ECE pool party… from what I heard.. there was clif diving… and more junk calories than are served in all the local eateries combined!!! (except when Krispy Kreme opens… OH NO!! I need to sign up for something!!!) ECE well wishes for those who’ll cross the border into NC for the Lake Logan Half Tri…. Grover Malachi Chapman, Speedy Cheek, Ashlan & Jason, Josh H, Eric P and Debra S are listed on the participant list… and after it’s all over… their names will be listed as FINISHERS!!! BOOM, that’s how it’s done!!! (apologies if I missed a name or two) If you don’t ride… please check the ECE calendar on the website… details of the Sunday Morning run are listed….
