Ridiculous that we still have sports teams using racist names. Ive also heard the argument, Well, theres also the Vikings. Why arent you protesting the Vikings? Really? I mean, really??? Well, if those making this argument are really serious, the first thing we must do is look up Vikings. And we discover the use of the past tense because there ARE no more Vikings! And besides, Vikings were never systematically oppressed. Neither were Cowboys or Patriots. Can we please keep the sports team names to animals, colors, and inanimate objects? Jets and Giants and 49ers are fine. Skin colors and names of indigenous people are not.
