Riding a road bike to the beach for food with friends on a lovely Sunday, what more can a cyclist ask for? This Sunday PCC will be making a visit to the lovely Bagan Lalang! Date: 7th December 2014 Start/End: Car park next to Petronas, Jln 15/1b, Bangi GPS: 2.934239,101.767993 (Waze-able) Time: 7:30am(Please arrive 15 minutes early to be in time for ride briefing) Route: (Option A)Petronas - Salak Tinggi - Sepang(Shell Regroup) - Sg Pelek - Bagan Lalang(Regroup and Refuel) - Sepang - Sg Pelek - Salak Tinggi - Petronas(99km) (Option B)Petronas - Salak Tinggi - Sepang(Shell Regroup) - Salak Tinggi - Petronas(68km) Been a while.... Perhaps one of every Malaysian road cyclists favourite route, pretty much flat, coupled with a little bit of undulation. If you are looking to for a long and relaxing chit-chat-able ride, this is the perfect Sunday route for you. There will be a short regroup at the Shell Station, Sepang. If you are rushing home, there is an option to turn back at that point and yet still garner a good mileage of 68km. Traffic is reasonable, ride leaders will signal to switch from riding two abreast to single file in certain sections of the route for safety reasons. Suitable ONLY TO those who are comfortable to ride alongside MOTORIZED VEHICLES. Things to bring along: Spare tubes, handphone, hand pump, multitools, food, sunblock, 2 filled water bottles and for safety purpose, NO HELMET NO RIDE.
