Right Folks.. Pin back the old lugs cause we have some serious sh*t going on here.. As the more observant amongst you will have noticed there is a bloody great fence round the back of the pub to prevent you falling into the big hole in the ground that we have dug out. The really sharp ones will have also spotted that the big hole is now filled with walls and stuff. Well, the upshot of all this is we are extending the pub a tad. Anyway we have now got to the stage where we are moving electrics and things from behind the bar and in the kitchen. So from this Saturday 2nd August the kitchen will be closed for around 2 months!! Not so good for a pub that offers great food (you may say). And we would agree. So, during the time the hot kitchen is out of commission we are working on a summer menu that will feature great baguettes, salads etc. Lets face it you dont really want hot food when the sun is cracking the flags, do you? If you really want hot food and feel you have to go elsewhere we will understand, but please remember where we are and lookout for the notices that say we are re-opening the kitchen. What we have planned for the extended Junction will blow you away. Bear with us, it will all be worth it! We will keep you posted.
