Right! I am angry. So I am not sure if anyone noticed the tariffs that have been placed on Australian coal going into China? Well they are huge. And all the financial media can talk about is why it is a stupid idea for China to limit competition in its largest imported good. Why is the talk so limited. If they stop importing a lot of coal then they can focus on their own domestic energy industry and begin converting it into a sustainable clean energy sector. This idea s outlined in the most recent five-year plan. They are actually creating more competition by diversifying their energy consumption. If Australia wants to enjoy trade with China, it needs to think of a way it can support this new initiative. When Obama needs help fighting Muslims we are with him. But when he calls out for us to clean the environment we whimper an excuse. Similarly, when China opens its trade borders we cheer and pump them full of coal, until their people cannot go outside in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai with out coughing. But when they want to start limiting the amount of coal and begin converting consumption to sustainable sources... Oh God They Are Communists.
