Right after posting the message that we had received money to take the pound baby to the vet tomorrow (the one with the swollen face), I received a call from Tammie. A rescue group from Tuscaloosa has offered to pick this baby up and take care of all of her medical treatment. I think they will also find her forever home once treatment is finished. We have another baby at the pound with a similar issue, but his is under the neck and bottom of the jaw area. He is a senior citizen. The swelling has gone down a little from the time he was brought in, but when I was there on Thursday I noticed it has opened up a little and small amount of bleeding coming from it. If it is O.K. with the ones who donated toward the vet care for the other baby, I would like to use those funds to take this boy to the vet in the morning. If I do not hear any opposition by morning, I will use the $85.00 donated thus far for the old mans medical. Thank you so much for your generosity and help for these precious babies. I will update you all of his progress and try to get an update from the rescue group of the girl they will be taking today. They will be calling soon with a time for me to meet them to pick her up this afternoon. I see we just received another donation from Joan. Thank you to everyone for helping
