Right after the excitement of the European Cup Draw yesterday Ive calmed down Like in 2002 I didnt really wanted both, Liverpool & Basel to face each other but looking back to 12years ago I have to say what 2 fantastic occasions they were Standing in the Annie Road away end slagging Gerrard Murphy Owen & Co was just fantastic but weird at the same time My Son Marc in the Kop supporting the reds haha brilliant Then the 3 of us(both lads)went to Switzerland for the 3-3 & that in my opinion is still my best EVER Basel night in supporting my hometown club for 50years On this occasion again I just cant turn my back on my Hometown Basel, the town I grew up & lived in for 25years & love it to bits With Liverpool fc I had the most amazing 36years following them all over the place & experienced the best footballing years in my life but as I said I made up my mind, actually there was no debate at all FORZA BASEL!!!! Hopefully I can make the trip in October & Deffo be in the Annie Road with the pyro boys in December
