Right as promised as full update of the race last Sunday. What a fantastic day, the sun was out but not too hot and everyone was in the best of moods to enjoy themselves. I managed to run the race in 52.50 which is faster than the last 10K i have done. I am ranked at 780 which is not bad as there were over 3500 runners for the 10K alone. I am still awaiting a few promised donations but it looks as if i shall exceed £500 and with gift aid on top it will be well over £600. Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported over the past few weeks and a special thank you to Wendy Watson & Billy, and Barbara Richard Hirst for coming out and supporting me on the day and cheering me on. I also want to say a big thank you to Maggie Mercer for your company on the day and helping to make the day very special and very enjoyable.
