Right can someone give an opinion please?? In fact the more the better to be honest. A father makes three applications for residence, all he gets is contact with a SW collecting and picking up to see how it went. Theres loads against him as said by the SW to the mother, all they recommended in the first place was contact. The judge then tells the social worker as mother and father are unable to get on it will emotionally abuse the child in the future so crosses the section 31 threshold! The judge invited the social worker to make a care order application! Father gets again his third emergency residence order ignored and only asked to answer questions not to have a say, mother is given a chance though to explain her position. All they have on mother is animosity with father. So heres the question? SHOULD father ignore the fact that hes been ignored and carry on with his own agenda whole social workers have transferred the case to the long term care team and hope he wins in the end! OR should he actually realise that neither of them will win if he carries on and starts working with mother whos in a better position than him and sort things out to eliminate the section 31 threshold and sort out arrangements privately? Ok opinions go.....
