Right folks. Id like to ask for a show and tell of your sleeping systems. Ive just packed mine up for a quick one nighter and it weighs in at 3.5 kg. its the Czech bed roll, which is bivi bag, wool blanket and linen liner, with my issue thermarest inserted within the roll. But. Its big and bulky. For me its worth the weight. Everything in one so all I have to do is roll it out, blow some air into the thermarest and jump in, no need for a tarp and I never hammock. There might not always be trees to hang from, but theres always a deck to drop to. I like to rest well and I sleep cold so need the extra layers even in this mild season. I even wear my dry kit to bed to make sure. Once I have my canvas tarps sorted, it will wrap and strap around this all to keep it dry and so that my full shelter kit is in one package with simple easy access. So come on, show us yours and give a little info why you use this system.
