Right folks, appears to be a bit of confusion out there regarding U.V. Lighting for turtles, tortoise and lizards, for daytime reptiles this MUST be provided in the viv or over the enclosure with the correct strength tube or mercury vapour bulb, U.V. Radiation can NOT be provided from the sun by the placement of enclosures beside widows and doors, U.V. Rays will only penetrate one very expensive, very specialised form of glass. We can run through all lighting requirments in store if your stuck, and remember, if you get the lighting wrong youll eventually have a sick animal.
