Right, here we go... this is the Met officer (and friend) I was - TopicsExpress

Right, here we go... this is the Met officer (and friend) I was talking about... the situation began by me telling him hell be going on youtube and hed better represent correctly (I was pulled for no seatbelt in Tooting, but Im medically exempt... these robots just cant take a mans word that hes not obliged on those grounds), long story short, by the end of the video Id stayed nice and warm in my van while they were in the rain, and actually had the nerve to say couldnt we do this on a better night? haha, what a comedian. The rest of the video is private viewing only since I promised the officer not to put him on youtube when he pleaded me not to before he let me go. I said you have my word - well, this isnt youtube but the fact remains he was severely disciplined by his superior and that was sufficient enough reason to hold back a lot of him showing himself up. If you live near me, youre more than welcome to come watch in its entirety :) These two videos are the best bits. He arrested me under section 24a of PACE. Which is a specific piece of legislation you can use as a CITIZEN! That section should be quoted by people who are not police officers when they make a citizens arrest. The only restriction is we can only do it for an indictable offence... meaning a serious crime under common law and with reasonable force. The problem with this officer using that section is if you really want to nit pick you could dispute that he has deactivated himself as a police officer and place himself in a civilian role by using S24a. Further to that, it could also be argued that since he is still in uniform he is now actually impersonating a police officer and has given himself ZERO authority to issue me a summons as an employee of the force and is liable to be prosecuted of a criminal offence, namely fraud for the ticket to extort money, and the impersonating. This might all seem a little bit ridiculous to some, but this is beating them with their own rules, the one THEY have to follow. They are simply clueless to law, and even misrepresent their own policies. Anyway, just watch cop1 (left) undermine cop2 (right) by saying S24a has been abolished (after cop2 literally just arrested me for it).... I think their faces say it all. Misrepresentation (it hasnt been abolished at all), and pissing off your colleague. Dunno what would be worse?
