Right im not a moany person on the whole....but today...!!! So due to a slight influx of people to Bude, it took me half an hour to get from Crooklets to Morrisons....only to find that we now cannot cope with a bit of rain and Morrisons was shut....due to rainwater covering half their floor....i asked were they to open again today...not sure was the answer... So in desperate need of nappies and formula for my baby boy, i made the half hour journey back through Bude up to Sainsburys...where what I can only describe as carnage was occuring....there were cars driven by shitty, unreasonable people everywhere...I needed a child friendly parking space and so, on seeing that a man and his child were heading back to their car, decided to patiently wait....he opens the boot, unpacks his shopping, unloads the child in to the car and then....then decides to let me know he is not going yet..!! Okay...so i drive round yet again and decide I am not going to get my child friendly space so settle for an end space as I have seen a lady get into her car and appear to fiddle with her seat belt....I wait and two angry car drivers try and get me to go into a space where I would have no chance of getting out with my baby and his pram without doing damage to other peoples cars...so I indicate I have a baby with me and get the fingers..nice, thank you very much!!! And to top it off the lady who I thought was leaving now gets out of her car and walks towards the entrance..!!! So eventually I am now inside Sainsburys where again there are frantic people panic buying everywhere...I go to the baby aisle and lo and behold....they dont stock the specific formula my baby is needs due to reflux issues....Boots is now shut...Morrisons is now shut and i have no option but to buy the ready made formula which my baby boy is not used to to tide me over till tomorrow....and hence why i am probably in for a pooey night....!! THIS IS WHY HOWEVER MUCH I LOVE LOCAL SHOPS AND TRY TO SUPPORT WHENEVER I CAN.....we need another supermarket of decent size that stocks everything....and why I am FOR Tesco coming to Bude...!!! I know I will no doubt get criticised for this....but after spending over 2 hours trying to buy two simple items....and getting sworn at, hot, sweaty, cried at and generally pissed off i felt the need to let off some steam..... wy can we not cope with a sight influx of tourists to our tourist destination when combined with a bit of rain....rant over...goodnite.... I will be back to my normal non moany self again tomorrow I hope...unless I have a very pooey nite..!!!!
