Right lets see what I can tell you about Optimus, his birthday is July and he was 3 just gone. He is a male Lilac Shar-pie and KC reg. He is a big softie and loves being scratched and stroked. He had a face lift two years ago as his eyes were suffering. He does have a slight skin condition that seem to gets worse in summer but antihistamine a day makes that better. When gets bad he has had steroids. He has medication for his ears to make sure they stay okay. He does not like the dark and cries, so have to leave lamp on every night for him. He loves his walks and walks well on a harness and can be let off and does not leave my side even when other dogs are around. He gets on well with dogs and children. Only ever seen him get a bit funny with one person and that was towards a policeman that had come round due to having a prowler in the garden. Hes not a great guard dog as would probably sleep through anyone coming in. I can be in over 10 mins before he wakes up and realises. He is fed on dry complete Harringtons food as that seems to be best for his skin. He does have a pongy odour sometimes. Likes baths and sits well for them but does not like his face washed. Will lie calm when cleaning ears out. Does not really play with toys. Does like treats and chews. Loves to be snugged up with the family. Gets on great with my granddaughter sits and protects her.
