Right now I am enjoying a “Cheesy” Cheddar biscuit straight from the oven. I confess they are not from scratch because I used “King Arthur’s” biscuit mix I bought for pancakes. I used the recipe on the box which called for 2/3 cup of milk and 2 ¼ cup of mix. I added a cup of shredded “Cabot’s Extra Sharp Cheddar” and substituted 2/3 cups of Buttermilk and baked in a 450 F oven for 10 minutes. Great and easy for a morning treat on a day like today. They taste light and fluffy, and much better than BisQuik biscuits. Give it a try, King Arthur’s is the best. P.S I am eating the ugly 10th extra one on the right. The baker always gets leftover piece.
