Right now I should be spending happy summer holidays with my beloved daughter Beckett. Instead I spend every day without her and every evening I go to bed to yet another night filled with nightmares. I wake up at 5 every morning, with agony and frustration. Beckett has been abducted and taken out of Sweden by her mother. Against a court ruling. She has disappeared without a trace. Beckett’s mother Tracey and I have been in a complicated custody battle about her future. Tracey wanted to uproot Beckett, move her from the school she has been going to for the last 3 years, from her friends, her soccer team and from me, and take her to New Caledonia where Tracey is now living. Finally, June 9th the court ruled that Beckett should stay in Sweden and live with me. Ofcourse her mother would be able to spend time with Beckett, here in Sweden. But Tracey had been planning her escape in advance. When the court ruling came, she was already gone, and she had taken Beckett with her. I found out later that Tracey had left Sweden two days before the court ruling came. Beckett has not been seen in Sweden since may 20th, but I have received notes from her that she is in New Caledonia. Tracey had no right to leave Sweden with Beckett and she should return with her immediately. Tracey is now wanted by Interpol for Aggravated abduction of a child and I am in contact with the Swedish foreign ministry to get Beckett back through a Haag process. But my nightmares continue and my sadness is only growing, as things seem to move slowly. Tracey likes to travel a lot and could be travelling anywhere with Beckett. If anyone should see Beckett, please contact the local police and they will contact Interpol. Please share, to help in bringing my little girl home.
