Right now, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestras musicians are in their second indefinite lockout in a very short period of time. A Deafening Silence was heard on what would be their opening night of their 70th season. This is unacceptable! In support of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and in response to the Support ASO Scale Challenge given me by my teacher, Dr. Michael Heald, here is my G-blues scale to help get some groove back into classical music. The challenge goes a bit like this: Record yourself, performing any scale you please, with any instrument or voice, and then donate $5 to the Atlanta Symphony Musicians. Now, if you dont wish to record yourself playing a scale (I dont see why you wouldnt!), then please, donate $50 to the ASO to show your support. Donations may be made through this link: atlsymphonymusicians/ Then, personally challenge some of your friends, preferably in different areas, to do the same! I nominate Ben Cork, Tyler Boone, and Sydney Doemel. Though I didnt mention you in the video, Crystal Kim, Keshaun Dupree, Courtney Werner, Max Sandberg, Lee Spence, Jasmine Tunac, and Michael Roberts, I want to see what youve got as well! Lets really spread the word and help Save Our Symphony Atlanta!!
