Right on Time.....The Lord will Vindicate Me!!!! Psalm 17:2 (NIV), “May my vindication come from you; may your eyes see what is right.” Have you ever been wronged, or had people accuse you of things that are not true? The word “vindicate” means, “To clear from blame, or suspicion, to provide justification”. In the Psalms, David pours out his heart to the Lord. He does not rely on men to vindicate him from the evil lies from the enemy, or from others who have accused him of doing wrong. No, David goes to the Lord, and in Psalm 26:1 (NIV) He cries out to the Lord, “Vindicate me, O Lord!” His trust in not in the arm of flesh, but his trust is in the LORD. It is very easy to take matters into our own hands, but sometimes in doing so we just add more fuel to the fire. But the Bible gives us good advice on how to act in these circumstances. Romans 12:19 (NIV), “Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay’, says the Lord”. The Bible also says in Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV), “‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are my ways your ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’” The ways of the Lord are far better, His wisdom is far more effective, His arm is mightier to save and to vindicate us than anything we could attempt to do in our own strength. It is far better to seek the counsel and wisdom of the Lord, to pour out our heart unto Him, to trust in His deliverance and His vindication, than to take our fate upon ourselves. God is not blind to what is going on, His eyes see what is right, His righteousness and truth will prevail. You may call out to the Lord, “Lord, you know how all these accusation against me are false. Lord, you know how I have acted before you. Lord, you know how I have been wronged, and how I have been betrayed on a personal level. Yet, from you, and you only, do I seek vindication”. When you cry out unto the Lord, you may ask Him, “How long ‘O’ Lord, how long will it take for the truth to prevail?” Swift will come the reply, “Not long, for no lie can live forever!” The Bible says in Isaiah 54:17 (NIV), “‘No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,’ declares the LORD”. My friend, God came to David’s aid, He will also come to yours. God totally vindicated David. He cleared Him of all blame, of all suspicion and justified Him. Let the Lord clear your name. Let the Lord bring about for you a mighty deliverance from the lies of the enemy. Let the Lord vindicate you; trust in Him, lean upon Him in your time of need, for He is the up lifter of your head. He will set you high above it all, and He will clear your name with honour, dignity, and integrity. Trust in the Lord at all times, for He is a faithful God. God bless you my friend, Matthew.
