Yesterday at 1:59pm · Like · 2 Mark Clegg Raising the minimum wage is only a temp solution, they will only raise prices so therefore everyone will have less money to spend,which will only make everyone else need more money to live,then they will need higher wages, prices will increase, n they will need to make more money, and so on and so on...a never ending cycle... A better more lasting solution to OUR problem... is to make the USA energy efficient by producing more gas and oil, which will lower the cost of producing and transporting our goods and also lower our every day expenses, Run the Government more like a business. Make them accountable and responsible for all money spent like a business would. Cut duplicate and wasteful offices and programs (which will save us billions of dollars each year, which will allow taxes to be cut, giving us back our money to spend as we see fit, which will make up more jobs and better lifestyles. Make people who receive government assistance accountable, install drug testing and work education programs that have a grade and attendance minimum that must me met for them to continue receiving assistance( which will teach them skills to get a job and get off of, not live off wellfare). repeal the UNaffordable care Act (Obama Care) and replace it with Torte Reform( which will reduce their cost of insurance) and more freedom to buy across state lines and other measures to make insurance companies more competive (which will lower prices). Have business men go through all regulation and weed out the bad, redundant, wastful and unnecessary ones (which will make it easier for new businesses to start up and established ones to work more efficently, disern between regulations for big business and small ones (so that big business cant have monolopies and small business isnt stimed) Redo Government adgencies from the ground up and get rid of bad regulations and my way or the highway mentality --This Is What Is Needed for a robust economy, paying down the debt that the politicians have gotten us into, help getting rid of the Poor Class and restoring the Middle Class to self sufficent one working parent status. They are giving them the daily average pay for the prior week, After cutting their hour the prior week. they(the employees) will end up making less on that paycheck than the one without holiday pay. Tax penalties for exporting jobs. You wanna get rid of Romneycare? Tort reform? So you dont want to be able to sue the hospital the removed the wrong leg? How about tighter insurance and hospital controll/reform? That I.V. bag at the hospital has an average over 5000% markup. The corporations that drill, extract and refine these things WOULD NEVER sell their product for one penny less than they could sell on the world market for more and anyone that tells you differently is trying to sell you something and if you choose to repeat their sales pitch than youre the stooge. One more thing: The Government does need to be more accountable but it is not a business and cant be run like a business. One of the many obligations of ours to to put the people first and protect their rights not to provide a product or service that is barely acceptable for the lowest price possible while trying to keep the lawsuits at minimum. This is another argument I see that holds no water. I could go on point by point but I know in the end it wouldnt make any difference. All of these are advertising slogans and myths perpetuated by big money and their bought and paid for political tools used to divide this country further until theres no accountability at all, whether Political, corporate or criminal. I just said that the merry go round of just raising pay n raising prices is very short term at best. Thats not the solution to the problem. N Dont you dare thank Obaqma for having more production of oil, gas or coal. N by the way natural gas is extremely clean n cheap n abundant. Our use of oil n coal is far cleaner than the rest of the world. As far as solar power is concerned, I AM A GREAT supporter of solar, which for the adverage house along with the subdies n tax breaks can be cost efficent n even profitible. I thought I told you I put up a website about solar energy, I stand by solar production, but it is way too expensive to be used comercially, it is improving, every thing in moderation. but it is expensive n it uses rare and toxic materials to produce. the same with the new improved energy saving light bulbs, which are so toxic to people, animals and nature that I cant believe that any one supports them. I also put up a google site promoting natural products including solar. However I have taken a stance against wind farms as they are very intrusive in nature and are responsible for a great number of endangered birds, that alone is too much cost for the small amount of energy that they produce. I am a supporter of most clean, natural, renewable energy sources and I believe that we should fund research in those fields. Are you so uninformed that you believe that we will be able to stop using fossil fuels? Do you really think that by banning them the would would be better off? dont you know that in order to survive companys will just go to china or india or elsewhere to make their products? And of course you think that those countries are envirmentally concious. we have some of the cleanest oil, gas n coal energy producers in the world. what a lot of envermentaly minded people think is that if we condem it in our country the world will be better off. you couldnt be more wrong. Dont believe me? check it out for yourself, would you polute the world so you could feel better about yourself? James, I bet you read your mortgage contract before you bought your house, didnt you? I also believe bad doctors should lose their licences or placed into less life threatening situations. 21 hours ago · Like Mark Clegg Hey Otter, oil leases, like any other product are controled by contracts, If I had a product that a company wanted to produce for me, the contract could say that they had to produce so many of that product and if they didnt they would lose the contract. the same can be done with oil n gas leases on fed property, they have to produce so much and perhaps only sell that product in the USA with no reduction of their other product sold inthe USA. in any case the world price would go down. Hows that for logic? And if you think that solid business principals can not be used to stream line, cut cost and make the Gov. more effecient and accountable for every dollar spent then you are a FOOL!!!
