Right there we are Ive seen it! The film...THE film, what a film too. I have heard lots of reviews some educated some not so, I fully understand the the photography aspect Gill Soper and I think it was spot on, it was shot in great sympathy to working class 1970s northern England and the lighting introduced an atmosphere perfectly fitting to the film. I never went to Wigan Casino so I can not say anything with regards authenticity to that scene at that time but for a big Northern Soul fan it was a really entertaining film, it had hard and soft scenes the way life was ( is ) The sound track well what can one say if Carlsberg made sound tracks they would probably be Northern Soul. On the whole I thought it was ace, Well done to everyone involved
