Right to the point---> Looking to pay people with big muscles to help me move in August Read on---> short story long/long story short.... So for the first time in my life ever I was going to (or might still) hire a moving company to complete my move (yes this has been going on a long time as Ive too much stuff scattered about/it has been a long process.... and this is a final (I hope) move to consolidate it all in two spaces (living and art studio) as well as toss/curb/donate/sell some antiques on Craigs list, etc... The last move, two years ago was in a HUGE rush and thus many belongings are scattered (blender parts in one box/blender in another/a huge mess!!)... ANYWAY. I usually rent a U haul, drive the U haul (I like driving big trucks, I am a farm girl you know.. ) and do as much as I can myself with the help of wonderful and generous friends... But this year my back is fragile and my elbow recovering and thus... not wanting to put this all on friends and partner ... made me look in to hiring a company. Three estimates thus far and its expensive, of course... And wishy washy with them charging over $130 an hour from the time they leave their business/arrive at my home (charge for driving same as moving /muscle time? I dont love that). I want to HIRE friends with big muscles at $25 (is this cool?) an hour ....with beer/pizza/beverages/something fun to eat, after the move... I have to secure the help of about three to four people one one day...and rent the truck soon. IM me if you can do this on the 8th, 9th or 10th of August. Thank you! XO
