Right, we signed for it by accepting the Terms and Agreements when signing in for the first time. BUT, where are the limits to manipulating information? Fine they study the data they collect (i.e.: google flu analytics) but modifying the data users have access to, isnt that a step too far? If they are in a position of influencing millions of people, shouldnt they be regulated? I am not a big Facebook user but we use e-mail providers that have the right of scanning all our private messages in order to do whatever they want with it; cookies are used to improve our browsing experience; location information is sent for service improvement purposes, we get bombarded by publicity in exchange of free services...
