Right well here goes, ok, the last status was a joke, I was set up by my good old friend Linda, however, this next bit is for real. As some of you may have heard already either from me or via the good old grapevine, after more than 4 years of living in Gran Canaria, I have decided to return back to the UK to live with my 2 adorable baby dogs. It wasnt an easy decision to make, but I feel Im now ready to come back, which isnt something I expected to be saying so soon, but was always told you will know when the time is right to leave Ive had tears, Ive had laughter, Ive had amazing friends, and some not so amazing friends but all in all, probably the best 4 years of my life and have met some amazing people while living here. And there are some people that I will miss more than anyone I have ever met, but Facebook is a great way of keeping in contact and I will definitely be coming back for holidays. And Im sure Ill be setting some time aside in the UK to travel and meet up with some friends Ive met while here who are also back in UK. Id like to thank Tony (Dinah), Tammy, Andi and James from Sparkles Show Bar for making it possible for me to live here 4 yrs ago by offering me a job at Sparkles, Id also like to thank Bar Diamonds for the great 2 years I was working there before returning back to Sparkles for the second time last October. Id also like to thank Louise Baker for all her hard work arranging flights for my dogs back to the UK, I couldnt have done it without your help. There are so many people (personal and professional) Id like to thank for making my life here such a good one. I leave the island on 4th August to start my life back in sunny old England. So plenty of time to catch up with people over the next 3 weeks before I go. Its a new start, so who knows what the future will bring. I wish everyone Im leaving behind the best of luck and hope you have as much of a good time here as I did, and so many memories to take away with you. And I wish the people Im going to be catching up with back in the UK the best of luck as well, for having to deal with the return of me :-) Well, thats my essay finished, now its time to make a nice cuppa and egg and bacon sarnie :-) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
