Rightio. So this is a bit contentious. And I hesitated to write this. But I think it needs to be said. I dont like talking about politics, but Imagonna. Now, Im classified as being wealthy thanks to my lovely abundant business. And Im absolutely against the Australian Governments Budget. Its the stupidest idea in the world to tax those who are already struggling more. Tax the wealthy - we can afford it! Im happy to pay more tax. Im happy to support our country. Paying more tax wont mean my kids will suffer but it does for other families. In lieu of the government doing it, Ill invest more money into philanthropy (we already support a large number of Australian and international charities). Whats more - I worked in Joe Hockeys office in Parliament House many moons ago for a very brief period. He is one of the biggest bullies Ive ever met. I was appalled by so much of his behaviour. There ARE good politicians out there. He isnt one of them. Im deeply concerned about the attacks on the environment, social services and anyone who isnt rollin in the moolah. I so dearly hope the Senate rejects this Budget. And I hope Abbott, Hockey and Pine are either dismissed or a big ole herd of angels, unicorns and fairies swarms them, bathes them in love, heals them and elevate them so they may do what is right for the highest good of all of Australia (and the world). Aho and amen. (Also: Im not into Labour or Liberal debates. Im not one way or the other. I dont care how you voted. Im just saying: this budget isnt worthy of Australia.)
