Righto up to number 4 on my list of favourite records of the year. This one is Pixies with Indie Cindy. Got a bit of a critical mauling this record from the beginning of the year. I must admit first time I played it through I wasnt totally convinced. In fact it took a reappraisal after seeing them do an amazing show in Barcelona to hook me to this record. It eventually became the soundtrack to my summer. Tracks such as Bagboy, Blue Eyed Hexes & What Goes Boom could easily have come from the height of their career. If you dismissed it, give it another listen. Itll pay great rewards.
