Rights dont come from the government. They dont come from our political leaders, bureaucrats, military, police, or any group or individual. They werent created by the Declaration of Independence, The US Constitution, State Constitutions, or any document. They dont rely on a Flag, a statute, a building, or any sort of symbolic object. Rights are inherent. We are born with them. In many cases all these devices mentioned are actually used in an attempt to suppress individual rights. So dont be surprised when people are critical of these things and want them changed or destroyed because their rights are being violated.
