There are also references to rice phobic vampires, reincarnation rites, smoky spirits and some martial arts. I’d heard the title of this one but otherwise went in blind, I’m not sure whether I’m any clearer now as it tried to tick too many boxes and for the first two thirds nothing much happens. It’s a shame that it wasn’t consistent however the final third is excellent, action packed and bloody with a great ending. Having said that the visuals are outstanding throughout and I’m sure it would look stunning on blu ray.
