Rigorous federally-funded science confirms the Windsor Hum. University of Windsor scientist, Dr. Colin Novak, measured and tracked over time a low-frequency vibration, with seasonal variation, that his team concludes is located in the vicinity of Zug Island. Though not 100% certain of a specific origin, based on the Hums characteristics and pattern, Dr. Novaks report hypothesizes the source as the blast furnace at US Steel. Our government is sharing the science with political and industrial stakeholders on the US side, and our new Consul General in Detroit will begin engaging them in the near future to secure a US study to pinpoint the source.
