Rincon high school math teacher, Teresa Bushnell, who is also a dental therapist created a statistical project for her senior class. Her project was to outreach to 3rd graders in the TUSD district and teach them basic oral health instruction and nutritional counseling. The idea was to statistically report from a follow up visit, how many children would retain the information that was taught on an initial visit. She had requested a small donation from El Rio to use in her lesson plan for her class.
