Ring lists were sent out a couple of weeks now which you will need to follow your birds as ring numbers will remain hidden and confidential . Today the birds were tossed from 47km from a north westerly direction into a south easterly wind. Desipite a little light rain here and there, the birds cleared the point instantly and were recorded home in the clock in just 39 minutes, a tremendous effort with the conditions today. Some 25 were still missing after feeding, with 20 arriving throughout the afternoon, leaving 5 missing tonight, another bird being withdrawn due to a broken leg, leaving 601 birds on their perches tonight. Apologies for no official toss results yet. 3 results are waiting to appear, hopefully very soon. No tossing is now likely until possibly wednesday next week with plenty of rain being forecast. The next toss now will be from 57 to 58km.
