Riots , i was bout 17yrs old when the rodney king riots kicked off , it seem the world went crazzy , me and my potna had studio appointments and just wanted to be on the seen with the underground movement, we got picked up from the bus station from the homie Amp. Or Ron Johnson who played in white man cant jump, sister act 2 , and then the homie eclipse better known as clypse, we was in a Uhaul rental truck lol fareal tho but mobbing, lol well we ended up down town and we was walking up going to a spot were all the under ground artist just go and bust Poisionas Records and if u in the bizz and kno hollywood this was the spot before project blow, .. i mean cats now from the black eye peas was in this joint yes , Will i Am .. Taboo, who started out with Amp, and clypse Dancing, but dig this me my potna Es 4, amp and a couple of homies took off , we hit the highway and i remember looking over the skyline how smoke hoverd over the city, but a funny thing it was over the community that was urban , wait i was just in Hollywood and it was nice buisness as normal , but in what we would call the hood was smothering and hot coals and fire, ok we got stop by the police walking up the hill to another location, and believe me when cops is on riot patrole its no joke , i mean of course how can u not think that a group of rappers walking up the street is going to look like , a gang related issue but the funny thing is when the cops figure out your no threat then want u to rap for them lol tru bizz, but this is the truth , my dad Haywood Lewis lived thru the Watts Riots him and his brother owned and operated ther Bakery and my pops told me the same thing happened shops , restaurant stores burnt up, looted, thank god they broke in many stores but spared there bakery, he said he came in the morning after, building on fire smothering, there was no location to go and get milk or eggs , local businesses gone , and never recovered, i see the same with the Rodney King Riots , Urban owned shops gone, never came back , now Ferguson, Riots , now what pattern is going to match up , Darren Willson , the grand jury , the city itself will never see that Riot , Will never feel the suffering of the urban streets , were even county officials cant approve a vote on street repares in our neighbor hoods , why would a Grand Jury be trusted on delivering a indictment. .. lets build community in a whole, lets build a government of official answer for the police they put on the street , to protect and serve. To agree to be evaluated, to see if there any signs of any mental disorder, issue them a medical marijuana card , if needed , what o a police smoke trees , PleAseee, okay ,lets Open up A Bottle of 1800 for o Mr police officers, really tho , im sure to be a police officer got to be a damn hard job and i honestly take my hat off for the hard working , honest peace officer that serve and service there community in a positive way, but really its a sad thing looking at a city go up in flames, (im not proof reading this , like a little Diary entry lol ) PEACE! !!!!
