Es gab anscheinend eine Revolte von Geflüchteten in Nauru gegen die unmenschlichen Konditionen und den jüngst unterzeichneten Abschiebe-Vertrag von Australiens Premier Minister Rudd mit Papua New Guinea. Der Aufstand wurde leider niedergeschlagen. mit Hilfe von bewaffneten australischen "Bürgern" die der Polizei zur Hilfe kamen.
