Rip it out When I was young I decided to sew several garments for my one and only little girl. I was excited about dressing her up in something I had created with my own hands. She wore them happily and without choice. Really, I was not very good and I really did not enjoy the process. I hated with a passion to rip out. This is done to perfect or correct an error; a seam must be torn loose and reconstructed correctly. This killed me. but as we all know this is a part of sewing. The manufactures even make a little gadget to make ripping out and correcting our mistakes easier. Nevertheless it tore at my very being to rip out a seam and start over after working so hard to get this pretty little garment completed. But my joy was the completed garment; to present to and dress my daughter. So I did what I must to achieve the finish garment. Sometimes in life we find ourselves in this same position. After working so hard someone takes the tool of God’s word, the bible and show us biblical error. This can be difficult to accept, but God has given us this tool to make corrections in our lives. He will not force us to use the tool but his grace has extended to every man time and opportunity to make corrections. My friends don’t be like me resisting the process to perfection. Where there is error tear it out and start over. We all must stand before God and give an account. So each of us should diligently ……Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.2 Tim.2:15. Make our calling and election sure. 2 Peter 1:10. Yes, God has prepared a rip out tool for us. 2Tim. 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Look into God’s word, if it’s not there; if it’s in error rip it out.
