#RipBro VIRGINIA BEACH -- One person died after a shooting in Campus East late Saturday night.Dispatchers received a call about the incident in the 5500 Baccalaureate Drive at 10:40 p.m.One person died.Someone who lives in the home in front of which the victim collapsed said she heard a party and a fight behind her home. She turned on her porch lights, hoping to scare off the people involved in the fight.She went on to say that after she turned on the lights, she heard a lot of gunfire. Several people banged on her doors, begging for her to open them. The expectant mother took cover in her bathroom with her husband and daughter. She added the person killed was running away from the gunfire when he was hit.Although another neighbor told 13News Now one other person was taken to the hospital by ambulance, a Beach Police spokesman could not confirm that was the case Saturday.
