Risa hollered and ran around the paddock like a crazy horse for about an hour after Sayda left. I was really worried about her. My dear friend Susie Hudgens brought over Firecracker the little rescue mini she has been taking care of to keep Risa company. Risa sniffed him and was not happy he wasnt Sayda, chased him around a bit (she is blind so that was in his favor) and then was like Okay, I can tolerate him. But when he went into Saydas stall to eat some hay she about had a cow. So, I had a little talk with her and explained that Sayda would be back in a month. I promised. Several times. And, even though she was looking at me like she wanted to kill me she shook her head and let him stay in the stall. I believe she is still ticked off but will be happy with the company when she calms down. At least the poor baby will be able to eat in peace now. Kinda. Lol!!
