Rising Kashmir News Curfew has been clamped in most parts of Kashmir valley in view of Lal Chowk call given by Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and strike call and protests by other seperatist groups to protest against killing of six civilians in Gool area of Ramban on Thursday. Reports said that minor clashes took place between people and police in some areas of Srinagar downtown early morning when heavy deployment was being made to enforce curfew restrictions. Two vehicles of police were damaged. However, situation was soon brought under control. Most parts of Kashmir including Srinagar and other major towns have been put under curfew even as the situation remains tense. Entire seperatist leadership has been put under house arrest and JKLF chairman Yasin Malik has been lodged in Kothibagh police station.
