RisingSeniors 2014 Georgia Junior Bowl is a great program and great experience for the players who represent the top ranked High School junior football players from Georgia. Not only are the players very talented, but their focus on achieving greatness is unmatched. I served as GM of the East Team Dedication. The game yesterday, won by Team Dedication, was the culminating event, but it is just the finale to a long learning and enrichment experience. The most memorable time spent with these players was in the meeting rooms talking about everything but football. I shared with the students that they are on a lifelong learning journey. I gave them my two foundational tips for students their age: 1) Never walk into a room where you might learn something and fail to bring paper and pen. 2) The only way a question is stupid is if you don’t ask it.
