River is a special needs husky. She unfortunately has limited mobility in her hind legs due to a fractured vertebra that happened when she was young. Despite her limited mobility she is not completely paralyzed. She is currently walking but it’s far from graceful and on non-carpeted floors are impossible for her to traverse without falling without assistance. She only needs her cart when going on long distance walks. River does have the potential to regain full use of her hind legs but she needs a home with carpeting and with a family that will remain committed to her rehabiliation.
