RiverHawk Assistance for NSU Community Affected by Fire In response to the fire that destroyed more than a dozen apartments and several vehicles at the Pleasant View Apartments in Tahlequah on Aug. 14, NSU is offering students, faculty and staff affected by the blaze a variety of assistance and/or resources based on individual needs. NSU HawkReach Counseling Services Free confidential counseling to all enrolled students Located in the Leoser Complex just north of the Housing office Call Brian Childs at 918-444-2042. RiverHawk Food Pantry Provides free food and personal hygiene products for students (and their dependents) in need Located in the basement of the University Center, across from parking and the FIT Call 918-444-2526 to schedule a visit. Monetary Donations for NSU Students Light the Way Scholarship An emergency scholarship fund to help students facing unforeseen financial circumstances and lighten the financial load and keep them on track to finish their degrees Call the NSU Foundation at 918-458-2143 or visit nsugiving for more information.
