Rivers people are disappointed with governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi . His was never a government of the people (by the people and for the people.) Hording The Money. Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi took Rivers peoples money -money formerly shared in large sums to market women gatherings, churches, students and civil servants singing praises at the slightest instigation; money formerly distributed to jobless youths organised into amorphous unions with claims of solidarity to the powers that be, and kept for himself. He took Rivers money to build roads, hospitals and schools and even dared to redraw the map of Port Harcourt with aims towards making it look like Manhattan. Whatdafuq is a monorail? Whatdafuq is Greater Port Harcourt? Poor visionless governor! Who told him Port Harcourt needed expansion? Who told him dualisaton of major roads in Port Harcourt is neccesary? Who needs street lamps? Who needs house to house domestic waste collection? You share the money if you are for the people! If your government is of the people, by the people and for the people you put real money, hard, crispy notes on their calloused, longsuffering hands! That was what Sir. Dr. Peter Odili did! That was why he was beloved of the people! He wasnt called the Golden Governor for nothing fishhead! Selling of Jobs; A Grosteque Altruism. Governor Rotimi Amaechis worst offence is the allocation of chioce positions in government agencies and parastatals to non-indigines of Rivers state. How can a Yoruba head the lucrative Rivers State Environmental Sanitation Authority as sole administrator? How many Rivers indigines can be so appointed in Osun, Ondo, Kwara, Oyo or even the cosmopolitan Lagos state? And to think that even the highly sensitive Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) was headed by another Yoruba! If not for the fondness of Small Dame who unlike Big Dame is yet to openly pokenose into government affairs in Port Harcourt, one would have belived the rumour of his man shacking Kongis daughter! The managment of the state of the art Maxilofacial Hospital at Garrison and the Kelson Harrison Hospitals in Diobu are Canadians! At the Maxilofacial hospital the Canadians perch at the last floor while the onye nwala, the omo nile wallow on the ground floor-exposed to ebola! What manner of governor does that to his own people? Why not just sell the state outrightly? Who cares if the services are delivered properly? What if? Cant Rivers hands deliver them properly too? Even the Shell BP/NNPC/Total/Chevron joint venture Obio Cottage Hospital built specially for indigines of Obio and Akpor has Ibo as the official language for bussiness transactions as 99% of the health officers there are Ibos! When you even add that Ibos masquerading as indigines of Rumuobiakani or Obio Akpor LGA sneak in from neighbouring states to exploit the insurance scheme in that hospital thereby denying the real beneficiaries the use of this scheme you become really really very very madder at this man! And talking of masquerading claimants to Rivers state origin getting chioce jobs at the expense of real indigines do you know that apart from the generous qouta allocated to non-indigines out of the 13K teachers the RSVG claimed it employed, these ungrateful horde of non-indigines under the watch of Rotimi Amaechi went to the various LGAs in RS especially PHALGA and OBALGA, secured LGA identification letters as indigines and used same to suck up almost 50% of that job? They didnt end there but made sure they secured lucrative postings around Port Harcourt, Obio Akpor, Etche, Okrika and other metropoles around PHC while the rightful heirs got posted to far flung backwoods and backwaters where they wade croc-infested waters in dugout gondolas to teach reluctant pupils in deskless, chalkless, boardless and thankless huts passing as classrooms? What greater pain can one inflict on his own people? Amaechi is definitely not the man! Little wonder Chief Olusegun Obasanjo an established political K-leg in his right easily identified his K-leggedness then! What manner of grostesque altruism finds jobs for non-indigines while heirs roam the streets jobless? That no one has connected his name to the EFCC or corruption does not mean we wont hear of these soon. We await his Alamesiagha treatment. Nyesom Wike; The Man. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike understands the people. He will right these wrongs. He will correct these injustices. He will share the money. He will redistribute the jobs equitably among its rightful owners. If Theodore Orji of Abia state can send fellow Ibos packing from Abia state civil service calling them non-indigines, why wont Oga Wike do it? The Sarduana of Sokoto Sir Ahmadu Bello didnt only do it but took pride in doing it in the 1960s calling it the northenization policy -check Jide Olarenwajus film, Real Story of Nigeria. Did Raji Fashola not do it in Lagos of No Mans Land? And to think that while on Rythm 93.7 PH on October 1st 2014 and when informed by Segun Owolobi of the discrepancies in tuition between Rivers and Non-Rivers indigines at the Rivers State Uninversity of Science and Tech.(RSUST) this same Amaechi did not only express surprise but asked his commisioner for info. Ibim Seminentari to remind him to put a call to Bariname Fakai, the VC of the university for correction of that perfidy. Thinking he has done something profound, he even declared We the APC do not believe in non-indigineship! Whatdafuq!?! Is Rochas Okorocha not of the same APC? How much does ImoPoly charge non-indigines? Does Lagos State University charge uniform tuition fees? KwaraPoly? Kwasu? What is pumping Governor Amaechis messiahnic pretensions? Nyesom Wike; The Man For The Moment. Chief Barister Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike, the original saviour of the masses, the Chop-I-Chop man has promised he will press STOP on all these nonsense. He told his supporters yesterday that government is not about showing on TV or making speeches. He said governance is not about Facebook -you must know he is not on Facebook. Serious people dont have time for such nonsense! He said governance is about strengthening the churches and mosques so they can impact positively on the people. Such a nice, religious man! Also, proving he is in tune with the times he promised to do something about Stomach infrastructure. I shall vote for him. I love pragmatic people. Amaechi can go eat his monorail, hospitals, roads and schools. Where is his stomach infrastucture programe? Nonsense man. Up GDI! Sai Nyesom Wike!
