Riverside County Sheriffs Deputies shown in Action on the Strike Line during the 1973 UFW Grape Strike in the Coachella Valley. I have edited 6 reels of 16mm Cine film taken by the UFW in 1973 with the intent of showing primarily RSO Deputies in action. Deputies: Lt. Paul Yoxseimer, Manual Mapula, Howard Rush, George Conroy, Sgt. Ron McCaskill, Bill Clayton, Brad Gardner, John Sebastian, Phil Foster, Winston Pingery, Sgt. Dennis Froemming, Lt. Jack Reid, Sheriffs Aide Soto from Blythe (Look for the Khaki uniform) Plus a number of other Deputies I cant identify. There is also video of Cesar Chavez, Joan Baez and (perhaps) Charlie Mansons younger brother (look for his middle finger). This video is posted to Youtube and is approx 12 Min. in length. This is Civil Rights History filmed as it was made. Investigators David Weakley, and Larry Smith also shot Primitive Video using a first generation reel to reel B&W video tape recorder.
