Riverside is looking for a Volunteere Fundraising Consultant. We have mostly been funded through government grants and now we are looking towards securing private-sector funding. We are looking for a Fundraising Volunteer who will be responsible for the following: • Determine organizations that can be beneficial for contacting about funding and for other purposes • Build a database of contact information for key organizations/persons • Devise a strategy about when, how and whom to contact at these organizations • Create materials such as fundraising pitches, PowerPoints for relevant use • Brainstorm ideas for events for fundraising purposes Requirements • Previous experience with fundraising and/or current college student in the field • Excellent written/verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and in teams • Ability to incorporate the organization’s vision in to the fundraising planning If you are interested in any of the three positions, please email your resume to Kanika Minocha at [email protected].
