Riverwalk is located in the valley of Floral Park at the Mile 60 marker of the Western Highway in the Cayo District of Belize. It is ideally situated between the villages of Unitedville and Georgeville just east of the bridge over Barton Creek on the south side of the road. The paved highway takes you west, fifteen minutes, to the town of San Ignacio, the largest town in the district. Here you will find the market and a variety of stores and banks. You will also find a good selection of restaurants both local and ethnic. If you travel east for half an hour you arrive in Belmopan, the capital and conveniently, the offices of government. A few miles North of Riverwalk is Spanish Lookout with its agricultural base and associated stores carrying building products and housewares. Traveling south takes you to pastoral Barton Creek settlement and then on to the waterfalls and wonders of the Mountain Pine Ridge district which leads to the ancient Mayan city in the jungle - Caracol! If you prefer to stay closer to home you can just skip across the road to Caesars for a drink and relax with an excellent meal! All this and easy access to the Caribbean sea just an hour or so away makes Riverwalk the perfect place to locate your new home. Remember that a community of people with similar interests gives protection to your real estate and resale value.
