Road Closure Impact Statement Closure of Garrison Loop - entire west side and north end Also includes the roadway between Bldgs. 34 and 152 Duration of Road Closure 20 June – 14 August Purpose of this Closure To remove and replace the existing roadway and improve surface drainage. The first phase of work is to be completed on 20 June 2013, so that area will re-open and the second phase of work will begin. Starting on 20 June 2013 the Base Pavements Contractor will close off the entire west side of Garrison Loop, the north end of Garrison Loop and the roadway between Buildings 34 and 152. North Champagne Drive will provide access to the parking lot across the street from the front of Building 34 and the south end of Garrison Loop will provide access to all parking west of Building 34 and west of Building 152. To access the parking lot north of Bldg. 152 you can utilize North Champagne Drive to the east side of Garrison Loop or you may use Rogers Drive and Alden Drive. See the map below! Signage and traffic barriers/cones will be placed to notify traffic of the closure and to assist traffic around the work area. The closure for this phase of work is scheduled to take 55 calendar days to complete; meaning this phase of the work will be complete prior to 14 August 2013. We understand the inconvenience of this type of work, but thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation as we improve our Base Infrastructure.
