Road safety officials failed to see the funny side after a group of artists put up signs around a small town in Norway warning that people had to do a silly walk when using zebra crossings. The blue signs are inspired by the Monty Python sketch The Ministry of Silly Walks in which John Cleese plays a civil servant in a fictitious British government ministry who is responsible for developing Silly Walks through grants.
