Roadrunner Families, I would like to invite you to participate - TopicsExpress

Roadrunner Families, I would like to invite you to participate in Basic Training with your Soldier. Through the My Army OneSource, you can register for a username and password, and gain access to online training. Army Community Service offers Army Family Team Building (AFTB), which is designed to help new spouses and families learn about the Army life and how to maneuver through daily challenges by discovering how to decipher Army acronyms, utilize Community Resources, attain better financial readiness and understand the goal and impact of the Army mission on daily life. There are 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training for your Soldier here with the Roadrunners, and there are 10 training modules for AFTB Level 1 training. I’d like to challenge you to complete one module per week for the next 10 weeks! Every Friday (calendar and training permitted), I will post a question to this webpage based on that week’s module. For the first family member each week to answer the question correctly, I’ll go find your Soldier and take a picture of them at their training event, and post the picture on this page! So, how about it? Anyone willing to experience Basic Combat Training at home and execute AFTB Level 1 training with the battalion? Here’s the link to get started: https://myarmyonesource/familyprogramsandservices/familyprograms/armyfamilyteambuilding/default.aspx You will have to register for an account and then sign up for the online training. To register, go to this link first, and click “Join Now!” Enter your biographical data in the appropriate boxes. When you get to Military Community Affiliation, select ‘-----Fort Jackson’ (30th down from the top of the list). I look forward to meeting everyone in August! The Best Lead the Rest! Roadrunner 6
