Roane County Office of Emergency Services & Homeland Security is saddened to learn of the death of a longtime colleague, Bob Capell. Bob worked with us over a number of years, and served Roane County as the first Chair of the Local Emergency Planning Committee. In that capacity he helped to get the first of much important information flowing that helps keep Roane County citizens, business, and industry safe and working. Bob could be well described as a true gentleman. He will be missed, but his service will not be forgotten. The family will receive friends at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood on Sunday, June 16, from 1700-1900. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Monday at 1030 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Harriman with Father Michael Sweeney as Celebrant.
