Rob is worried because he has no energy... Today was one of those days where I just did not want to get out of bed. Made it to bed last night at 11:00 PM but was as up from 2:00AM until 3AM. Staying in bed was not working for me due to weird dreams, pain issues and other fun getting older issues. Managed my nap till 6:30 AM but was up with the dark, yep, the sun was not up yet! Had a cup of coffee, yes I still drink that demon coffee, after all I was a cop soldier investigator for 40 years and drank coffee all that time. Seems that is the only drink cops and soldiers were suppose to drink and was all that was available most of the time. Decided to get out on the trike for a quick slow fun exercise scenic ride to clear my mind and get that calm feeling I get every time I walk or ride out and about here in The Villages Florida. Got the trike ready, air in the tires, batteries replaced in the warning lights front and back, water for me, sweat towels and so on. Saw and talked to five of my neighbors who were out getting the news paper or working on their yards...sun was just coming up. At 7: 20 AM it was 74 degrees, 84% humidity with the night shadows being replaced by blue sky and sun. Rode 7 miles out and took a break, took some pictures along the way, returned 7 miles for a round trip trike ride today of 14 miles. The trip took and hour and thirty minutes...I am a slow fun rider...Smiles. Wish this old flesh colored bag of water and bones had more energy reserves in it but I am what I am and will have fun as long as possible...Smiles.
