Robbery Investigation On Aug. 25, 2013 at approximately 12:09 a.m., officers of the Kokomo Police Department were approached by a male while they were on a traffic stop at US 31 and Mayfair. The male reported that he’d been robbed at gunpoint. The male victim from Indianapolis stated that he came to Kokomo to meet a female who he originally met on a dating website. After following directions to a business in town, a black male entered his vehicle, displayed a handgun and ordered him to drive to an ATM. While at the ATM, the suspect ordered him to withdraw cash. After taking the cash, the suspect ordered the victim to drive him to a north end neighborhood where he exited the vehicle. The victim was not injured during the incident. The suspect was described as black male, possibly in his early twenties, approximately 6’0”, approximately 185 lbs., with a goatee and wearing a blue t-shirt and black pants.
